discipline in Southern Punjab. This facility was not available in the entire region.

University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi - Program of
M Sc. Sociology started in 1997 and of M. Sc. Anthropology in 2000. The programs were part
of the department of economics and agri economics. A separate department of Sociology and
